Privacy Policy

BloomWatch (bloomwatch.co) is operated by Zager Consulting LLC, an Iowa limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who handles it, and how you can remove it. Questions: bloomwatchsupport@zeninfinity.com.

What we collect

Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile image, and the time you last signed in. We request only basic profile and email access.
Resume: if you upload one, we keep the file name and the text extracted from it (up to 20,000 characters). We do not keep the original file.
Your activity: companies and jobs you save, apply to or ignore, your digest settings, copies of the digests we sent you, and outreach drafts you generated.
Feedback: if you send feedback, we keep the message, the page you sent it from, and your email address only if you enter one or are signed in.
Site usage counts: we count page views and sign-ups with no cookies. We do not store your IP address. To count unique visitors we use a one-way hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day, so it cannot be used to follow you over time. We honor Do Not Track.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, requested page) kept for operations and security.

How we use it

To sign you in and run your account.
To score jobs against your resume and show your matches.
To email you digests of new funded companies and roles. Every digest has an unsubscribe link.
To draft outreach emails and LinkedIn notes when you ask for them.
To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not share your resume with the companies listed on the site.

Who processes it

Google: sign-in. BloomWatch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to train AI models, and we do not send it to Anthropic.
Anthropic: when you generate an outreach draft, up to 10,000 characters of your resume text, plus details of the job and company, are sent to Anthropic's API to write the draft. We do not disclose your resume to anyone else. We store it on our own systems to provide the service.
Resend: delivers our emails, so it receives your email address and the digest content.
Hosting: we run the service on servers in the United States.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use one session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete your resume or your whole account from Settings, or email us and we will handle the request within 30 days. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, resume, activity, digests, drafts and feedback from our active systems. Limited copies may remain in security logs, in records we must keep by law, and in backups, which are overwritten on our normal backup schedule. We may keep the minimum needed to honor an unsubscribe request.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you by emailing bloomwatchsupport@zeninfinity.com. If we are missing or mishandling information about you in our company data, see Help.

Company and job data

Company, funding and job listings come from public news and public company careers pages. Listings link back to the original source.

Company records may include the public professional name and role of executives and hiring contacts. If you are named and want it corrected or removed, email bloomwatchsupport@zeninfinity.com.

International users

BloomWatch is hosted and operated in the United States. If you use it from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where local law gives you them, you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email us to exercise any of these rights.

Children

BloomWatch is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date is at the top. We may notify you of changes by email or on the site.
